As the car widely used and the environmental requirements,with the hope of good power and fuel economy,people are increasingly concerning about the performance of the engine.Valve train is one of the two engines,which controls the opening and closing of the engine valves,controls the engine intake and exhaust.So,studying the valve motion in the cylinder becomes very important and the study of valve seat has been the focus of research for the study of the reliable engine components.Because the valve seat failure will affect the fuel combustion in the cylinder,thus affecting the engine power output.In this paper,using G300 diesel engine valves with valve train seat,designed the valve static contact stiffness test and simulative dynamic valve seating crash test,based Archard adhesive wear theoretical mathematical model to calculate the amount of wear on the valve seat and valve recession.(1)The data in the valve static contact stiffness test and simulative dynamic valve seating crash test analyzed of the valve seating feature.The test included designing experiment,building test bench,writing program of data signal acquisition,connecting the sensor circuit of signal acquisition,and acquired the valve motion acceleration,displacement and valve stem stress signal.(2)Using the statistical analysis of the data signal in the test to study seating process stiffness,motive characteristics and the forces of the valve data indicated the valve seating of random process,nonlinear stiffness,the forces related to valve seating speed.(3)By studying the mechanism of valve seat wear and adhesive wear a theoretical model of Archard,calculating the amount of wear of the valve seat and valve recession with mathematical model,which increase following valve seating velocity.(4)This paper used HyperMesh software for the FEM preprocessing of valve seat,then used ANSYSWorkbench software to calculate mechanical load thermal load and thermo-mechanical load.The results showed that the valve and seat in contact had concentrated forces.
