75% energy-saving code promotes the reform of building exterior walls in Beijing. Autoclaved aerated concrete(AAC) walls as a new type of building materials has a lot of advantages such as lightweight, high strength, green, energy saving and so on, it is a kind of ideal new building exterior walls. However, the research on the application of AAC walls used in high-rise buildings with such high thermal insulation performance is still few. So on the basis of quasi-static test and shaking table test, a series of research on AAC walls are carried out, mainly in the following aspects:(1) By the quasi-static test of 18 AAC walls: Study three kinds of joints connection method with different forms of reinforcement, stitching materials and windows hole reinforcement under low cyclic loading. To observe the whole process of the AAC walls loading from elastic stage to crack until failure and record the drift ratio and failure models. Study on the failure mechanism and failure modes of AAC walls. The stiffness degradation and stiffness contribution to ALC walls is studied with the walls are embedded, external and no window openings.(2) Through 4 full-scale AAC walls frame structure shaking table test to study the seismic behavior of the embedded and external AAC walls in 8 degree frequency occurred earthquake, 8 degree design earthquake occurred and 8 degree rarely occurred earthquake and the failure models in large drift ratio. The dynamic characteristics and seismic behavior of the structure are studied by the modal parameters, acceleration-time history and displacement-time history curves. To verify the reliability of new embedded joints under the seismic case and propose suggestions for flat steel reinforcement of windows hole.(3) The shaking table test data were calculated by Matlab software: Using the power spectrum peak method to identify the natural period, damping ratio and mode of the structure. Through eliminating the trend, filtering, integration of acceleration-time history data to calculate displacement-time history.(4) Through the finite element analysis software SAP2000 to analysis specimen FR1 and empty steel frame. The specimen frequency, period, mode and internal force were calculated. To compare the results of calculation with the test results to analysis the influence of AAC wall on seismic performance and internal force.
