During the past 30 years of reform and opening up, China’s economy has obtained an exponential development. People’s living standard increased as well,which leads to a result that more and more people are focusing on the health indicators of the body, and the self-check of all health indicators is also becoming more and more important.Driven by the powerful market forces, all kinds of electronic medical equipment have come into our daily life, and household electronic medical instrument has become particularly important. While the evaluation of the blood oxygen content is a key indicator of human health. As for the power consumption and low anti-interference ability of the traditional blood oximeter on the market at present, we present a low cost and ecological design of blood oxygen saturation measurement instrument, which can collect and show us the information of the content and the physiological index of blood oxygen. At the same time, our equipment can realize a real-time data transmission to the families’ cellphone and make an early diagnosis of certain diseases which is a suitable equipment for the lonely old citizens’ health indicator monitor and a powerful tool for home monitoring.We apply the wireless transmission module to realize a long distance data transmission, in order to design a fully automated intelligent monitoring oximetry for home use. This blood oxygen meter is composed of low cost microcontroller, multiple second-order filter circuit and solar cells as a power, which can make a comprehensive analysis of the pulse signal information. With the help of the analog conversion circuit system and the analysis of the microcomputer, the LCD1602 LCD display module and GSM module can display the information of body healthindicators real-time, and send the information to the users’ families and work as ordered send by users.Finally, by using accurate measurement data, we can compare different people of different age and different health stages in order to get accurate data indicators. Our system can send the test result to specified cell phone. In conclusion, our design is capable of processing the data accurately, monitoring remotely, and repeating the process. The design is especially suitable for elderly people who are living alone, and community care situations.
