Since the 21 st century,and as China vigorously promote the construction of urbanization,the power system has been developed rapidly.Cable is the main transmission equipment in power system,and its stability directly affects the safety of the whole system.To judge the working condition of cable is vital to the reliable operation of power system.In recent years,many power cable detection methods have come out,partial discharge signal detection,which can determine the insulation performance of the cable and find hidden troubles in time,is one of the effective means to prevent cable accidents.Firstly,the research background,significance and the status quo at home and abroad were described in this paper.Advantages and disadvantages of several common methods of partial discharge detection were analyzed.This paper selected the high frequency electromagnetic coupling method to realize partial discharge detection.Secondly,this paper studied the mechanism of partial discharge of cable,and analyzed the propagation characteristics of partial discharge signal in power cable.This paper designed the partial discharge detection device,which mainly included Rogowski coil current sensor,amplifier and filter circuit,data acquisition circuit and power circuit.Finally,this paper summarized anti-interference methods for the cable partial discharge detection,designed the adaptive filter and IIR trap filter to eliminate periodic narrowband interference,applied wavelet threshold denoising method to remove white noise,and then tested the filtering effects through the MATLAB simulation.
