Research And Design Of The Engineering Graphics Virtual Laboratory

The application of virtual reality technology in teaching is the conversion of two-dimensional information into three-dimensional form. Virtual laboratory has a significant effect on improving the quality of experiment teaching,and it is an effective complement to the traditional experiment teaching. Virtual labo ratory can effectively reduce the cost of teaching,also can stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning. For the traditional experimental teaching it is an effective supplement.The research contents of this paper are the following aspects. Firstly,through a lot of literature review, the application of virtual reality technology in various fields is summarized and analyzed, several software platforms were compared in this paper, and their advantages and disadvantages were summarized respectively. And then the design process of the virtual laboratory is studied, which lays a theoretical foundation for the development of the virtual laboratory. Human computer interaction in the Virtual Laboratory of engineering drawing is analyzed. Studying on the development of Virtual Laboratory,and ultimately determining to use virtools as the research tools, The development of each e xperiment module is completed. And the interface of virtual laboratory system is designed,the layout information and visual interface of the system has been designed and optimized. Finally, The usability of virtual laboratory system is studied, and then a usability evaluation model for virtual laboratory system is established. The results of usability testing are analyzed. Virtual laboratory o ptimization recommendations are given to enhance the user experience of lab.
