A standard of urban underground space development and utilization, in a sense, reflect the level of economic development of the city. With the rise of Chinese large and medium cities in recent years, the number of deep excavation has been increased quickly.Many creation theorys and practice has been improved. Deep excavation is a very close combination of theory and practice. the idea of this paper is to recerch the deformation of deep excavation, there are many tough problems of deep excavation,In order to resolve these tough problems,it quotes many useful mathematic models,for example:the gray GM(l, l) model, gray Markov chain model, the BP Neural network model and gray Markov chain-BP artificial neural network model method, these models are used in the deformation forecasting of deep excavation,discuss which modle is suitable for the certain kind of deep excavation,the purpers of this paper are focused on the following:(1) Summarizes the recent development of deep excavation, on this basis, summed up the recent development of monitoring tools and monitoring control techniques and deep foundation pit deformation mechanism, and discussed and elaborated the mechanical characteristics of deep excavation retaining structure, the classical earth pressure theory and its application, and soil conditions and stress-related body limit equilibrium theory of soil.(2) The quote of gray system theory, gray Markov chain theory, BP neural network theory and a collection of 3 models are the advantages of a combination of theory, There are four prediction models, and refer to the actual project monitoring data are discussed their engineering deformation prediction the applicability of the respective advantages and disadvantages.(3) Use these four kinds of prediction models into the Southern Mansion deep excavation,Forcating the deformation of this deep excavation during the process of excavation digging and construction,Then,contrast the calculating result and the practical result,to find if the two result are similar,If they are similar,it means that the prediction models could help engineer to control the process of construction.
