In recent years,with the rapid development of transport in China,The highstrength material and thin-walled structure has widely used in the cable-stayed bridge,and it is developing towards the direction of lighting.Compare to the concrete and steel,the composite beam cable stayed bridge has the advantages of light weight,low cost,fast construction and bring the function of all materials into full play,which is fast development and extensive use.The construction of long-span composite beam cable stayed bridge is tedious and complex,during the construction,the load,constraint,material,structure system and so on are all changing,nonlinear problems becomes prominent.Therefore,it is very necessary to research the nonlinear stability for long-span composite beam cable stayed bridge.Based on the research achievements of Chinese and foreign scholars and design codes,relied on the project of Wujiang Bridge,this article systematically studied the nonlinear stability on long-span composite beam cable stayed bridge.The main works of this dissertation are as follows:(1)Introduces the development and characteristic of cable-stayed bridge and composite beam cable stayed bridge,summarize the analysis theory and processing methods on stability and nonlinear.(2)The finite element model of Wujiang Bridge is based on the construction sequence and characteristic,the elastic and geometrical nonlinear stability at construction and the completed stages has been calculated.Also,mechanisms for modes of instability at construction and the completed stages have been researched,and the difference between elastic and geometrical nonlinear stability has been calculated,reference to the stability analysis on several same type bridges,the general regularity on semi-floatation systemic cable-stayed bridge has been summarized.(3)Based on the calculation results,the stability influence of structure,load and constraints to the long-span composite beam cable stayed bridge has been analyzed.
