Strengthening Research Of The Reinforced Concrete Frame Teaching Building

More than 30 years of reform and opening-up, along with the rapid development of national economy, the buildings of the city have been built quickly. However, China is an earthpuake-prone country. Especially in nearly a decade, earthquake caused great losses to the people's life and property.After the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, our country has revised the seismic code, and requires local goverment take actions to detect and identificate the main teaching building, and reinforc the building that does not meet the requirements of seismic code, in order to ensure the safety of life of students. this paper detects, identificates and strengthening design a teaching building.It also could give some valuable suggestions for the similar seismic strengthening projects.At first, the paper summarizes the detection?identification and common strengthening methods of a reinforced concrete frame structure at home and abroad. Then the paper addresses the testing and evaluation on one teaching building with reinforced concrete frame structure.It also analysises the advantages and disadvantages of all kinds of seismic strengthening method. The paper designs the comprehensive strengthening scheme.:For irregular surface, increase of reinforced concrete beam and slab method is used to increase surface rigidity of the structure... According to the different position of frame column, the following reinforcement methods are separately used:enlarging section method, the enclosure steel method, the enclosure steel and enlarging section synthesis method. The reinforcement methods of frame beams are the enclosure steel method and enlarging section method.Stair brick wall is reinforced with steel wire mesh— I level polymer mortar plaster Through the strengthening design, the structure satisfies the requirement of the current seismic code.
