Chemical power source is through chemical reaction method converts the chemical energy into electrical energy, there are many types, such as nickel cadmium batteries, nickel hydrogen batteries, aluminum silver oxide batteries, thermal battery, lithium ion battery, zinc silver batteries, silver zinc battery is a kind of chemical power sources, its wide application range, strong practicability it has more. The advantages of silver zinc battery is the weight ratio energy and the volume ratio of energy and discharge ratio of power to better than some other battery, but also has a good safety and reliability, voltage and discharge process of high precision and can adapt to large current discharge characteristics. At present a large number of weapons such as rockets, missiles, torpedoes, drones are using zinc silver batteries, at the same time, civilian products such as submersibles, underwater robot and a lot of communication equipment is also in the use of silver zinc battery. With the development of miniaturization, lightweight, precision guidance, remote attack, multiple warhead, flexible direction of weapon system, also put forward higher requirement for zinc silver batteries matching Asked silver zinc battery early small current density discharge to eliminating the high voltage plateau high, while taking into account the late discharges of high current density discharge voltage to meet the requirements.This paper first studied the method of eliminating zinc silver batteries early small current density discharge high voltage plateau, five after formation of silver oxide electrode processing electrode manufacturing method to discharge through the comparison of DC charging, variable DC charging, shallow discharge method, asymmetric AC charging method, halogen ion method of six different formation systems and high temperature drying method, immersion method and thermal decomposition method.
