The Design Analysis And Research Of Emergency Rescue Products Of Self-Help Type

Every year,it happens to all kinds of disasters in the world which causes serious casualties,economic losses and environmental damage.In the face of sudden disasters,human can’t predict or resist it,only through defense,emergency response,rescue and other ways to minimize disaster losses.Self-help is a very important way in disaster rescue.Before the arrival of rescue workers,the affected people with the help of self-help emergency products,through positive self-help can reduce disaster damage to itself.In this background,this article makes the self-help escape of sudden indoor fire as the research scope,through indoor person’s psychology and behavior of fire,combining with the disaster environment to analyze the emergency rescue products for indoor fire escape and summarize the design elements of the emergency rescue products of self-help type,providing a reference basis for future design development to let the victims help themselves effectively.To this end,the author mainly carried out work in the following several aspects.Firstly,it takes a brief introduction of the sudden disaster and disaster self-help by analyze the crowd’s psychology when they suffer the sudden fire and the behavior resulted from their psychology.It summarizes the demand that victims put forward when they come across the fire and help themselves with the lead of different psychology.It mainly includes the demands of victim’s psychological security,reasonable operation,self-help function,particular use,daily environment,etc.Then,the article analyzes the initiate emergency rescue products which have corresponding functions to satisfy the different needs for the victims.Meanwhile the methods reaching the needs and existing problems are analyzing in this article.Finally,according to the victim’s psychology and behavior demand in self-help it sums up the designed elements that fire emergency rescue products need,combining the existing products’ problems and the designed trend of conceptual products.Taking household fire extinguisher for example,it has a designed practice,associating with available extinguishers’ deficiencies anddesigned elements.Although this article takes the typical products as the main research goal,the personal and environmental factors in this stage are similar to other products,so the result of the research applies to the other products in that phase.The author hopes this research can provide theoretical reference to future design research of the self-help emergency rescue product of all kinds of disasters.
