Braided sandy shoal is a shoal exist in the plain on the river.As the bed is composed of fine sand.Beach trough easy to swing.The main branch to translocation and channel changes.This kind of river regulation project is more difficult.This paper is based on the physical model test of the channel regulation of the the Yellow River Garden Beach group and study on channel regulation of sandy shoal in plain river.It adopts the combination of numerical simulation and physical model test through collecting data analysis.It analyzes the river bed evolution law,the formation of beach risk,and the mechanism and the characteristics of navigation.It puts forward the regulation principle and parameter of river reach.It provides scientific basis for the implementation of the waterway regulation project.The research results have reference value for waterway regulation of similar river reach.The main research contents include :1)We put forward the necessity of this research topic through consulting the domestic and foreign scholars on the study status and main research contents and results of the study on the regulation of the sandy river channel regulation.2)We collect the measured hydrological data,topographic data and model test data and analyze the characteristics of the beach and the evolution of the river bed based on the theory of hydraulics,river dynamics,sediment movement mechanics and related disciplines.3)We analyze the trend of river bed evolution in the beach group and the reasons of its navigation characteristics.We calculate the flow condition and the river bed scour and fill in the reach of the project by establishing the mathematical model of two dimensional flow in the river section of the garden.It laid the foundation for the determination of horticultural field renovation works.4)We analyze and demonstrate the effect of different regulation schemes.We carry out experimental research on the design scheme and lay the foundation for further optimization of the design scheme.We optimize the design of the original design.We seek a good effect of remediation,technical feasibility,economic and reasonable improvement program.This provides a scientific basis for the management of the shoal group.
