At present,reinforced retaining wall has been widely used in all kinds of civil engineering.However,in the long term load,the creep of reinforced retaining wall will affect the mechanical properties of reinforced filler,and the reinforcement function of retaining wall is greatly weakened and even lost its stability.to To solve this problem,In this paper,the main job is to research the influence of grid creep on mechanical properties of sand and gravel packing under long term load based on the research of the long term working mechanism of sand gravel packing during grid creep as well as existing research.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:1.The influence of strain variation which is caused by grid creep on the internal friction angle and shear strength of sand gravel packing is studied by the physical test model of reinforced retaining wall.The change of the vertical earth pressure at different position of the filler was studied as well as discussing the horizontal displacement of the filler.2.Finite element software ABAQUS was used to establish the numerical model of three-dimensional reinforced retaining wall with grid creep,and carrying out a study on the stress change of sand gravel packing under the condition of grid creep.The horizontal displacement of sand and gravel material near the baffle and the vertical displacement of sand and gravel packing in the reinforced and non reinforced retaining wall are discussed and analyzed in accordance with the content of filler mechanics.Finally,the displacement of the top of the retaining wall is analyzed and discussed.As a result,discussing the influence of grid creep on the mechanical properties of the sand and gravel packing of the retaining wall from different perspectives.3.Analyzing the vertical earth pressure and the grid strain according to the physical model and the numerical model of the grid under the condition of the grid creep,at the same time,the influence of the elastic modulus of the filler in a certain range of the grid is also analyzed and discussed.The key part is to figure out the reasons of the "drum belly" deformation in the horizontal displacement of sand and gravel packing caused by the grid creep.At last,it is put forward that the position where the grid stress is larger should resort to thickening and hardprocessing,or add anchor at 1/3 height of retaining wall and other measures to improve the wall deformation of reinforced retaining wall and even the actual problems such as damage which is caused by the changes of mechanical properties of sandy gravel packing In the process of grid creep.
