Wind energy has attracted more attention by several countries due to our living environment, it has been exploited by more countries, industrial chain of wind power has been setted up complete, wind power technology is also developing rapidly.Recently, aerodynamic theory has been used in simulation of aerodynamic characteristics in wind turbine more frequently. The theory has usually been used with computer science. This method plays a very important role in wind turbines failures and wind power equipment development.This thesis researches on 1.0MW of standard grade in wind turbine,Calculation method of sliding mesh has been used in the establishment of the model in the whole flow field of wind turbine. First of all, the model of the blade in 1.0MW of wind turbine has been established. Concerning with design in various parameters of fan blades, which satisfies the requirements in maximum lift-to-drag ratio, and then the model of the whole wind turbine and the external flow field of the wind turbine has been established. the external flow field of wind turbine is made of the still region and motion region. The still region and motion region has been established. Data exchange in both surfaces has implemented in settings with the internal surface.Design requirements of standard in wind turbine has been consulted, four representative of wind regimes models has been selected, which is EWS, EOG, ECG and ECD. UDF has been used in the wind model establishment. Simulation has used by fluent according to the four special wind regimes models.Correctness of simulation needs to verify. First of all, convergence of the external flow field of the wind turbine has judged. The method contains of residual curve, flow rate of import and export, characteristic quantity monitor and so on, and the data of the interface between the still region and motion region. Secondly,accuracy of the power to the wind turbine operation in the eight constant wind speed condition has verified. Factors which effect on the calculation accuracy has talked.The method which can improve calculation precision has been proposed. The simulation has calculated in details for an example as vertical shear wind condition.It includes characteristics of the speed and pressure near the blade and tower, the change curve of wind wheel, tower shadow effect, aerodynamic load. Aerodynamiccharacteristics of the whole wind turbine has been calculated in the typical wind speed conditions. The data of the power in eight constant wind speed condition has been obtained, and the accuracy of the simulation has been verified by experiment. The nephogram of the wind speed and pressure in the external flow field of wind turbine has obtained. Effects of tower shadow effect has been analysised. The data of aerodynamic load has been calculated. The data of the simulation in this thesis can provide some theoretical foundation for aerodynamic characteristics of the whole wind turbine in the future.
