| In recent years, the continuous development of science and technology made people feel that the quality of life is improved obviously, behind that there are lots of efforts from workers of engineering and technology. How to improve the engineers’ ability on the quality of professional knowledge and skills, and to develop the ability and the consciousness of innovation engineers should caught is a topic researchers belong to many fields including education pay more and more attention. Chinese engineering education has a history of 100 years, so far, the amounts of engineers are more than Europe and the United States. On the basis of this situation strengthening the construction of the engineering education and research in China, and cultivating engineers who have outstanding innovation ability and engineering comprehensive ability for our country, can make our country’s economy and society develop more quick.In this paper, with the scientific knowledge map’s advantages in the information mining and intelligence acquiring, the author take an information visualization analysis using the data about engineering education from SSCI and CSSCI, in order to provide the Chinese researchers more materials from the angle of scientific metrology. With the help of the currently hottest map drawing software tool which called Cite Space, the author draws spectrum of the field engineering education research gathered, including the Noun Phrases and key literature co-cited mapping, Burst Terms evolution mapping, keywords co-occurrence mapping, the authors co-cited mapping and its cluster mapping. Using analysis theories of the citation analysis, co-cited analysis, keyword frequency analysis and cluster analysis, author reads and explains the mapping of international engineering education field, including key literatures, research focus and front, key author’s information, main academic clusters, and summarized the development of international engineering education and hotspot in the research content, in order to provide proactive suggestions for the development of engineering education reform in China. |
