Under the policy principle of national construction industry transformation and housing industrialization, modular construction becomes a new building system which can satisfy the requirement of sustainable development for its own characteristics including low carbon-energy saving, quickly and effectively, affordable,etc. However,our country is located at the confluence of two seismic zone, belongs to the most earthquake-prone countries, and most areas with high intensity.In order to satisfy the requirements of seismic performance of modular unit structure system,ensure the connection between adjacent modular unit securely and protect the internal inner of modular unit such as decoration and precise instrument from damage caused by earthquake,the modular structure is researched and explored through apply isolation technology.The main content of the study are as follows:(1) The modular structure have several characteristics such as double column-four beam,four column-eight beam,8 column-16 beam" and other structure. In view of the question about how modeling the modular structure reasonablely in finite element software within take the features of modular structure into consideration, 3 groups of numerical simulation model,which respectively consider the equivalent model and 3 kinds of spacing pattern about0 mm,100mm and 200 mm, including multiple column model, horizontal double beam model,vertical double beam model and a group of floor processing model is taken to study the effect on the overall properties of modular structure and discuss the reasonable and simplified modeling method.(2) Combined with the preliminary analysis results of modular structure modeling method, 6 structural models,including non-isolated structural, base isolation and 4 kinds of story isolation which set isolation layer in different position,are built based on a proposedmodular structure demonstrate comprehensive office building by ETABS.Then choose 3different seismic waves to carry out the dynamic time history analysis of these structures under frequent and rare occurrence earthquake respectively.Comparing the performance index such as natural vibration period, interlayer shear force and displacement and so on, the change rule of damping effect along with the different isolation layer position is explored.Meanwhile,Combined with the advantages and disadvantages of analysis of construction and cost aspects betweeen base and story isolation and the analysis result above,it turned out that the transfer story is the optimal location to set isolation layer of this modular structure.(3) Two story isolation models with different layout schemes in the transformation layer are taken to the dynamic time history comparative analysis under frequent and rare occurrence earthquake respectively, including analyzing series performance index of modal vibration period, interlayer shear force and displacement,absolute acceleration response and so on.Several aspects such as vibration isolation effect,fitting effect between module unit,torsional displacement ratio control effect, resisting overturning ability, utilization rate of isolation layer and efficiency of construction are respectively analyzed to find the more reasonable and economic layout of isolation layer in transformation layer.(4) According to the seismic response laws of modularization story isolation structure under rare earthquake, the story isolation design of modular structure based on setting different target displacement for up and bottom parts is explored, and the performance-based design procedure of isolated structure is gave in this paper. Besides,it turned out that the maximum story drift of example structure is 1/159 after elastic-plastic time history analysis by Midas-gen.And it is not only meet the specification limit 1/50, but the story drift for each layer is also achieve the predetermined displacement performance goals. It is conducive to reserve certain safety redundancy for modular structure,and it can provide a reference for relevant modular structure for the vibration isolation design.
