The steel bar construction blanking is related to the safety of the structure and also has a great impact on the cost control of the project. Therefore, the scene of construction blanking must follow the correct calculation rules. It must make accurate blanking calculation in strict accordance with the design, construction specifications and the requirements of quality safety. A reasonable blanking scheme must be put forward to those over cut-lengths steel bars under the condition of satisfying the construction norms and the ingredient list must be filled in according to the request. In order to improve the economic benefit and save steel bars, bars should be optimized combined according to the reinforced type and category in the process of product finishing. Avoiding excessive bar ingredients cause the waste of resources and the inevitable bar ingredients should also be made full use and the limited resources should be used reasonably.This paper firstly introduces the current situation of the development of the reinforcement project. The analysis shows that bars saving can be realized during the whole process in those four control core links as bar ingredients, phase control, process control and field management. It also analyzes the research actuality about the blanking optimized combination at home and abroad. Secondly, the basic principle of steel bar blanking is analyzed based on the standards and the rules of fair integral expression method. The bending adjustment figure and the hook length are summarized according to the different bending diameter and bending angle of the steel bars in order to query easily. Then the frame beam is used as an example to analyze the calculation rules of all kinds of steels and calculate the blanking length of KL9 by practical computation. New regulations is considered to use to redefine the thickness of the concrete cover and the stirrup is calculated by the skin of blanking length uniformly.To solve the problem of optimizing the combination of one-dimensional steel blanking, this paper enables computers generate all reasonable blanking methods automatically by using the program of MATLAB algorithm and establishes the improved integer linear programming model. The solution of one-dimensional steel blanking which based on branch and bound algorithm has higher utilization rate of raw materials and achieves better results compared with artificial blanking way.At last, with the help of computer aided construction material software, the model of steel bar of case engineering is established. By using the principle of software scale modulus optimization, the over lengths steel bars are cut by selecting appropriate reinforcement modulus, which satisfies the requirements of the connection area. By comparing the software calculation output of the steel bar ingredient and manual calculation, the analysis shows that software blanking is more efficient and more stable. But it also faces some problems for further study, such as it should be updated in real time according to the current code rules to meet the needs and further optimize the combination of the steel according to the optimization principle and put forward reasonable cutting scheme.
