Ship Energy Consumption Evaluation System Modeling Based On Data Mining Technology

In order to solve the problem of the ship energy consumption,the international maritime organization put forward reducing greenhouse gas emission of shipping industry according to United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.The International Maritime Organization made the energy efficiency design index(EEDI),ship energy efficiency management plan(SEEMP)and other ship energy efficiency standards.In the face of the fact that the International Maritime Organization continues to put forward the mandatory requirements,establishing ship energy consumption evaluation system to promote energy conservation and emission reduction and to improve the operational management level of the shipping industry is of important practical significance.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:This paper introduced the concept,characteristics and implementation steps of data mining,explored the feasibility of applying data mining technology to ship energy consumption evaluation,analyzed and compared the data mining tasks and common method to find a suitable mathematical algorithm for ship energy consumption evaluation system modeling.Analyzed the factors affecting the ship energy consumption,including the main engine,auxiliary engine,auxiliary boiler and other ship machinery,and ship age,speed,wind conditions and other navigation conditions.Established the index system of ship energy consumption evaluation based on the hierarchical structure.Used rough set,a method of data mining technology,to achieve the weights of different indicators and the impact of each energy consumption index.And established the ship energy consumption evaluation model based on gray clustering analysis.Built the knowledge base model of ship energy consumption by combining the ship voyage data and the experts' experience,case and books through expert questionnaire.Implemented the corresponding functions of ship knowledge management and coordination process of database and knowledge base.Developed the ship energy consumption evaluation system based on B/S structure on the WAMP(Windows+Apache+MySQL+PHP)environment on the basis of ship energy consumption evaluation model and knowledge base model.New data records will be stored into the database as a reference of data mining when other ship energy consumption is evaluated.Meanwhile,the system realized the knowledge management and sharing to provide support for the user to make a decision.This paper built the ship energy consumption evaluation system model,provided a new method for ship energy consumption evaluation,and built a scientific database and knowledge base management model using the data mining technology of ship energy consumption,provided support and reference for shipping management and energy consumption reduction for the shipping company.
