With global urbanization developing very rapidly in recent years and the urban population growing by leaps and bounds, rail transportation has becoming more and more important, however negative influences on environment caused by exhaust discharged from the automobile and other vehicle using fuel. So how to improve energy efficiency, reduce the loss of the actual operation is more and more importance in research topic. According to estimates more than 80% of the energy dissipation losses in train traction and braking process, only the energy loss in the teens in the auxiliary system, etc. So designers put forward to using the emerging products such as super capacitor technology to reduce the energy loss in the process of train brake. When the vehicle braking, energy feedback to energy absorption device, the train starting and accelerating, the traction vehicle speed up, maintain normal energy output.In this paper, using performance of super capacitor and bidirectional DC/DC converter to manage the energy absorption and release of the train in the actual process of the development of urban rail transit has been put forward, the main research direction is the bidirectional Buck -Boost converter and its application in parallel, and to develop a complete set of train energy absorption equipment management as well as its experimental verification.The main content of this article is to introduce the significance of energy management system in the practical application process, at the same time, this paper briefly introduces the super capacitor performance, and the series parallel flow equalizing problems. Secondly, for the study of bi-directional DC/DC converter circuit topology, this paper discusses the working principle of the bidirectional Buck - boost converter, the control model analysis. Then, analyses the bi-directional DC/DC parallel flow technology, equalizing g technology and its control method. Finally combined with the actual project, a prototype model will be built, and the necessary structure performance simulation experiment and thermal simulation experiment of heating element to the model, then carry out the experimental circuit and control program design work, build a prototype for the electricity charge and discharge test, demonstrate the rationality of the correctness of the theory and engineering.
