To solve the huge domestic power need, for which hydroelectric is regarded as a vital part of power for its green aspect. So the government put more and more attention and made many development plans to make it come true.southwest is commonly regard as a huge contained area for its much more hydroelectric power. So more and more huge water projects are established.our country put more interest into high concrete gravity dams establishment though recent years.so the dams come from general dozens of meters to several hundred ones. On the one hand they refreshed the dam records over the world, on the other hand they brought much more merit benefit domestic. The projects took much more power to near provinces and cities but also to some ones far away from them including Beijing and shanghai and Guangzhou city and areas which contain huge population and urge for energy.After meeting the energy need, safety for high concrete gravity dam is taking into serious consideration for which it is vital for people and their assets near the projects. So more need is taken into consideration, some scholars have researched for several years and they get some achievement. Earthquake which is regarded as a huge natural destroy resource has been a vital role into high concrete gravity dams. If it had been broken so badly the consequence is. Based onto given condition those works had been finished in this paper:Did some researches on simulation concrete by material experiments which can ensure its material property and damage status including its static property and seismic ones. By adjust its proportion to find suitable ratio to simulate true concrete material property. Make it sure that most parameters can meet the material need.Researched similarity relations and convert the relations to make the models fit the true ones. Based on the similarity relations given above, confirm some parameters to make the model experiments more availiable. for which it can offer much more theory.Had some researches on grind lay concrete dams by analysis on true dams and their property. Looking for better simulation solutions. By simulating lays on dams by simulation concrete and analysis its property on static situations and dynamic ones. Got some parameters though simulation concrete and took it for further research. Made some cuboid shaped construction members with steel bar and put them onto experiment machine test its property change after adding steel bars. Described its damage and parameters for later usage.Big models dynamic experiments and collected its reactions through strain sensors and analyzed the data. Compared with the experiments before and made a simple analysis on the effect of steel usage on concrete dam.Made some analysis by ABAQUS software for further damage and full analysis which model experiments cannot confirm.
