Bridge plays a very important role in the transportation system,which ensures the safety of the bridge structure is a major problem in the field of transportation. Due to various reasons, the bridge damage is inevitable. Bridge structure damage if not repaired in time, once the damage to the bridge will have serious consequences on the national economy and people's life safety, so the bridge structure damage identification research has important significance.The modal parameters of the vibration test, based on flexibility difference curvature method and genetic algorithm combination method.identify the damage location and degree of the bridge structure. This article is divided into four chapters.Chapter one is the introduction. Firstly,the paper introduces the background and significance of the bridge structure damage identification, then has made the introduction to structural damage identification theory and method of damage identification, finally describes the process and content of this paper.In the third chapter,using the angle of curvature mode method for damage location identification. The method can identify support element damage,make up the flexibility difference curvature method of defects; the anti noise performance of the method to superior flexibility difference curvature method.The fourth chapter introduces the basic principle of genetic algorithm, according to the flexibility difference curvature method theory to establish the objective function of genetic algorithm, using MATLAB to compile the programs of genetic algorithm to calculate the degree of structural damage. The calculation results agree well with the actual damage degree, with the increase of damage elements,the calculation time is increased, the accuracy of calculation of variation,damage identification more difficult. For multiple unit continuum damage, flexibility difference curvature method is not a good identification of the damage location, will be suspected damage elements are incorporated into the damaged elements, are calculated by using the genetic algorithm can be estimated approximatively unit whether the damage and the extent of the damage.
