Energy and environment is the themes of our era, electric vehicle is vigorously promoted by the government for its zero emission and low energy consumption, and its market holdings is in an increasing trend during recent years. But driving range of electric vehicles are generally short which is restricted to battery capacity. So predict the driving range of the electric vehicle accurately can be helpful for customs to make their travel arrangement, and relieve their 'range anxiety' caused by unpredictable of driving range. The article started by the estimation of battery remaining capacity to improve the accuracy of the estimation of driving range of electric vehicle, and study focus on three aspects: predict energy consumption of accessories; predict energy consumption of driving; estimate of remaining driving range.First, the article start by the study of estimation method of battery remaining capacity. Research the open circuit voltage character of lithium-ion power battery and obtain corresponding relation between remaining capacity, temporary and SOC by a lots of data process which was collected by data acquisition system in our laboratory.Second, the article analyze the energy flow. By study the characteristic of accessory energy consumption and driving energy consumption, the article develop an accessory energy estimation method, establish a set of multiple linear regression equation and identify accessory energy consumption model with least square method based on forgetting factor, and obtain accessory's average energy estimation method. The result of simulation shows that the method do not need to measure too much vehicle parameters in advance, which is helpful to make the method adaptive to different vehicles. The method possess potential for it can simplify the computation and ensure precision of estimating at the same time.Then the article study the electric vehicle's driving energy consumption estimation method. By using principal component analysis and cluster analysis method, the article identify and divide driving data into four category, and analyze cause for different energy consumption under different driving mode. Based on driving cycle identify, the article use standard deviation of acceleration and jerk identify the driving style with fuzzy recognition, analyze driving style's influence on electric vehicle's driving energy consumption, obtain energy consumption correction factor determination method under different driving style, achieved different energy consumption of three different driving style under different driving cycle. The result shows that aggressive driving style will consume 0?5% more energy than that of normal driving style under the same operation situation, but the calm style will save 0?10% under the same situation. At last, established correction factor between driving style and energy consumption, improve driving range estimation accuracy of electric vehicle under complex driving cycle situation.Finally the article verify electric vehicle driving range estimation method based on identify of accessory energy consumption and operation mode. By establish driving range math estimation mode and verify the method with data collected by data acquisition system.
