The horizontal stress and vertical stress are cyclical change under the traffic loading condition.In order to reflect the dynamic response characteristics of soil really,this paper do some research in coupling of cyclic major principal stress and cyclic intermediate principal stress condition.The main content are as follows:(1)The influence of Bishop constant,effective confining pressure on the strain characteristic?pore pressure characteristic?stress–strain curve characteristic?secant modulus,etc.is talked about by the static test of the different Bishop constant and different effective confining pressure.(2)The influence of dynamic stress ratio and dynamic stress amplitude on permanent major principal strain,permanent intermediate principal strain,minimum pore pressure ratio and the stress–strain hysteresis curve,etc.was analyzed by coupling of different cyclic major principal stress and different cyclic intermediate principal stress in the undraining condition.This paper create an experience calculation model of permanent major principal strain,in which the cyclic intermediate principal stress and the cyclic index was considered at the same time by analyzing the development of permanent major principal strain.(3)This paper still study the influence of confining pressure,draining condition and loading frequency on the saturated soft clay by controlling the testing condition in the experiment on the foundation of applying the cyclic major principal stress and the cyclic intermediate principal stress at the same time.(4)This paper analysis the influence of generalized shear stress and dynamic stress ratio on the dynamic characteristics of saturated soft clay in the condition of different generalized shear stress and different dynamic stress ratio on the foundation of applying the cyclic major principal stress and the cyclic intermediate principal stress at the same time.
