For the type of reactive problem-based electrified railway power system, on how to make the railway power conditioner(RPC) at a lower capacity, this paper launching a expand and indepth study. This paper mainly have two purposes, on the one hand, the manufactuting of a new-designed RPC could be reduced, the other hand, by changing the control strategy to achieve the minimum operational capacity,thereby reducing the loss of running the RPC. Specific work as follows:First, the system analyzes the domestic and international governance traction power supply system power quality problems several common approaches and performance characteristics, and these methods will be divided into internal systems of governance and external governance system sequentially introduced, in which the railway power regulator to study the basic principles, characteristics and status quo.Secondly, based on analysis and comparison to reactive problem-based traction power supply system of power quality characteristics of conventional traction transformers, traction power supply system established by the mathematical model of the system, we propose a power factor of priority and with due regard to negative compensation method sequence. The proposed approach to establish a direct contact with the power to issue RPC network side PF, clear reveals the converter capacity, one-side relationship with the PF current imbalance of clear physical meaning. And the performance of this method is to conduct a comprehensive analysis, theoretical analysis shows that the method with simple operability and higher capacitive section. On this basis, we propose a simple and reliable method of control, basically meet the power converter and the required reliability and rapidity.Then, it describes a method for designing RPC key parameters, and design based on V/v traction transformer power supply system of compensation governance railway simulation model mentioned in this paper, based on the model, based on two different types of conditions simulation. The simulation results show that the use of RPC priority to power after compensation strategy, by changing the network side target power factor PF., realized in making the system voltage unbalance optimization to compliance under the premise of reducing the capacity of the ultimate goal of using RPC. Such simulation results show the correctness and feasibility of the conclusions in Chapter 3.Finally, based on V/v traction transformer 2×5kW-class low power rail power supply system of compensation governance prototype structures described herein, the system topology, system parameters, as well as detailed descriptions of the control parameters, also introduced four basic module controller:synchronization module, power calculation module, a modulation module and power control module. In order to have a more systematic after experimental guidance, this chapter will use the process RPC operations carried out a detailed description of the final part of this paper, the results of this experiment demonstrates the principle is correct. The principle of machine power engineering applications and debug RPC provides a good simulation of small power for RPC compensation scheme herein provide support engineering applications.
