Study On Settlement Prediction Of Pile Groups

"West Lake Time" is replaced by "the Qiantang River Time" in Hangzhou.The area of the Qiantang River shore develops rapidlyday by day.The number of senior and super senior buildings which make requirements on bearing capacity of pile foundation increasingly high is getting bigger.The foundation there distributes large quantity of silt soil,silty sands and silt soft soil,so that the phenomenon of Pile group effect which makes building a larger settlemen t is more obvious.In order to avoid this phenomenon,the designers value conservatively but wastes costs.Therefore predicting the pile settlement accurately is meaningful.The paper's researches on the method of prediction are as follows.1.The method of prediction of pile group settlement is Proposed after collating and summarizing domestic and foreign researches on Pile settlement theory.2.The paper used the finite element software to establish model of single pile,and verified the accuracy of the model.3.By Long-term monitoring on Project,the paper summed up the law of pile group settlement,deduced mathematical model describing settlement ratio as well as correction factor of construction time,then verified the accuracy of this model.4.Based on the model of Pile and mathematical model,the paper predicted another similar project on pile group settlement,verified the accuracy of this method,and found it works on such projects.
