Smart grid wide-area communication system refers to the information interaction network between several major areas such as power generation, transmission, substation,power distribution and utilization, the scheduling through smart grid. With the rapid development of electric power communication network, network topology has become increasingly complicated. Thus certain information such as system measurement,protection and control require route selection during the process of transmission.However, the traditional routing algorithms cannot be applied due to its poor adaptability of the characteristics of power system structure. In conclusion, the further research on reliable routing algorithms is imperative for the intelligent power grid wide-area communication system.Through the analysis of the structure types of smart grid in combination with the requirements of real-time, reliable communication as well as communication technologies and protocols, etc, this thesis concluded a system solution suitable for smart grid wide-area communication system, which provides theoretical support for routing in wide-area communication systems.Considering the mainly influential factors in wide-area communication system reliability such as reliability of routing path, information transmission delay and bandwidth, etc., this article is based on graph theory method to establish a mathematical model for reliable, real time communication and bandwidth routing of multi-objective optimization. Then use the improved Floyd algorithm for solution following network topology analysis for validation. The analysis shows that the model and algorithm can primly meet the requirements of wide-area communication for three kinds of factors.Hence it can ensure the reliability of information transmission path and maximize the bandwidth thus to guarantee the correct information real-time transmission.In terms of grid communication channel impairment issue, this thesis proposes a solution of on roundabout wide-area information. Meanwhile, a modified genetic algorithm is proposed for communication channel reconstruction from the design of fitness function, crossover operation and mutation operation. Finally, based on the MATLAB simulation software, the various factors change on optimal path and optimum circuitous route table facing link bolt failure are achieved. The experimental result shows that the algorithm proposed in this chapter entails rapid convergence, for optimal global solution and circuitous route to complete real-time and reliable reconstruction in case of communication channel malfunction.
