| Earthquake is one of the most serious natural disasters, with a strong destructive force.As an important part of traffic lifeline,after the devastating earthquake, once the bridge damage,under the devastating earthquake, will cause great losses and may cause the damage and even paralysis of the traffic lanes at the same time.It will bring the negative impact to the earthquake relief. Many destructive earthquake data shows the serious consequences of bridge damage.So making the seismic design of the bridge,to ensure seismic dynamic performance under the earthquake force,is particularly important for the modern bridge construction.This paper takes the design of Sigma/Maziba Bridge as the research background.Studying on seismic performance of the bridge by comparing the theoretical and finite element analysis method.the main work is as follows:1.This paper expounds the basic theory of bridge under seismic action, including the bridge seismic damage form and the influencing factors, the ground motion input mode,bridge seismic response analysis method, multilevel fortification seismic design concept, etc.And the design method,the static response spectrum method and dynamic time history analysis method are introduced.2.This paper compares Chinese Guidelines for Seismic Design of Highway Bridges and European Eurocode8 by several aspects,such as the seismic fortification criterion, design ground motion, seismic response analysis method, ductility design, reduced isolation design.3.According to construction drawing design and geological data of the Sigma/Maziba Bridge,using midas/civil software,two models are established.One is established with the consideration of the pile-soil mutual role and the another is the bottom of the pier consolidation model without the consideration of the pile-soil mutual role.Studying the influence of the pile- soil interaction on the seismic performance of the bridge by comparing the different performance of the two models under the seismic action.4.On the basis of the pile-soil interaction model,this paper studies the seismic performance of Sigma/Maziba Bridge’s piers under different seismic fortification intensity by using reaction spectrum theory.Then suggests the engineering measures to improve theseismic fortification level of the Sigma/Maziba Bridge. |
