In recent years, construction industry in our country is booming, but the construction safety problems are still outstanding, the accidents happen frequently. Its reason mainly is that the old methods and technique of construction project safety management and the lagged accident prevention, lacking of information technology to avoid accidents. The popularization and application of building information technology, represented by BIM (Building Information Modeling), provided a new thought and method for changing the traditional safety management mode in construction field.This research took the typical accident hazards in construction stage as the research object, to build the construction hazards management system based on BIM with the integrated application of modern information technology. The main research contents include:(1) The construction hazards dynamic control thought based on BIM. And its core idea is comparing and processing the hazards live information with the hazards standard database, which is integrated by BIM. So that it will implement the dynamic control of hazards for engineering accident prevention.(2) According to the ?Construction safety inspection standards?(JGJ59-2011) and other relevant safety standards, combined with statistical analysis of the cause of the accident in building engineering, this research explored the BIM modeling of typical accident hazards, such as the fences of sides and holes, wall template, the scaffold, and created the hazards standard database with BIM model links, so that providing the basis for the building of hazard management system based on BIM.(3) This research built the construction hazards management system based on BIM, and analyzed it from the system architecture, system requirements and applicability of BIM. The system working process is first hazards information collected by RFID, then processed by BIM safety information model, pushed by mobile terminals at last.(4) The research took a university student apartments in Shanghai as the project case, built the BIM safety information model and verified the processing of construction hazards management system based on BIM, implement three mean functions:BIM model links to hazards information, safety construction schemes, and pictures of hazards. Finally the timeliness and accuracy of hazards information passing and dynamic of accident prevention is tested.
