Traditional fossil fuels are facing two major issues, exhausting and pollution. Based on this background, the new energy vehicles arisen.The hybrid electric vehicle with its unique advantages in the current that can realize mass production, etc. has become one of the key choices for the new energy vehicles.The Plug-in HEV is a kind of special HEV which sits on the mid of hybrid electric vehicle and pure electric vehicle. And PHEV is increasingly the key of today's product in some vehicle manufacture company.Focusing on Hybrid Electrical Vehicle,an Hybrid System including the continuous state variable, discrete event, a model predictive PHEV control strategy is proposed based on Mixed Logical Dynamical. Superiority of control strategy for PHEV based on MLP-MPC in fuel economy are verified by the results of simulation. The following three aspects are the main arguments of the paper:1.According to the analysis about the working condition of the PHEV. With a kind of simulation software ADVISOR and some contents of vehicle principle, the dynamic vehicle model is set up for a parallel plug-in hybrid electrical city bus. And it satisfies the dynamic performance indicators and the economic indicators, which set up a foundation for the deep study on the control strategy.2.According to the engine fuel consumption data, the relationship between fuel consumption rate and torque is fitted by the least squares method and figured. By using logical rules, the operating constraints of this PHEV are rewritten into some mixed integer linear inequalities. Thanks to some methods mentioned before, we established an MLD model of PHEV Power-train.3.Optimal control strategy of working mode and motor torque sequence at all times are solved out, which is used to set up control strategy module in simulation software ADVISOR and to analyze the process finally. Superiority of this Model Predictive Control Method for PHEV based on MLD in fuel economy are verified by the results of simulation.
