With the development of shipbuilding industry, the ship performance requirements have become more diverse, but also make the ship become diversified. If the new ship designs, only rely on the designer's experience or empirical formula of ship structure design and the traditional method is simple and has been difficult to meet the needs of the project. So if we can get the general formula of ship vibration emerging in advance, will become very meaningful. However empirical formula is usually from the actual data collected for statistical regression, the regression cycle is too long, and for some niche ship, in access to data is difficult. Is introduced in this paper super element method, using three-dimensional models of computation structures close to the actual value, and ultra element has to modify, different principal dimensions of ship data acquisition, and data regression, a particular type of ship vibration prediction formula is obtained.This paper firstly introduces the theory of the super element, namely the concept and characteristics of the dynamic substructure method, and compared the difference and advantage between the traditional finite element methods. The research and contribution of the domestic and foreign researchers to the dynamic substructure method are introduced. Then, the natural frequency methods are summarized, and the differences and advantages of each method are analyzed. At the same time, analyzes the traditional experience for a type of relative difference, proves that the traditional formula is no longer suitable for special type of ship.In addition, this paper describes the classification of dynamic substructure method, and the basic principle of each method is given and the detailed process of tangled down. Then, this paper introduces the basic theory of super element, and give in finite element, by Guyan condensation of super element of master degree of freedom matrix form. At the same time, summarized steps used in ANSYS, the super element and create a super element and the main principles.Finally according to the super element method, of a special ship type of super element method for data collection and return to the supplement to the CCS empirical formula method. The results show that this method is feasible and can fully grasp the principal dimensions of ship to ship the influence law of, provide an important reference for ship design.
