A rectangular waveguide(WG) and a TEM cells are used in the study on improving the irradiation uniformity of cell layer and cell sap in a culture dish in this thesis, in which the waves at 2.4 GHz is generated. And analyze cases irradiation radiation efficiency of the system in cases that cell layer absorption rate(SAR) distribution uniformity is good.Firstly, introduced the biological electromagnetism, the basic theory of Finite Difference Time Domain algorithm(FDTD) and related content. Three simulation model was built based on this, the model of WG irradiation system, TEM cells irradiation system and culture dish. Then, calculate cell layer SAR and cell sap SAR distribution in E polarization and H polarization respectively, the cell layer SAR relative standard deviation(RSD) of cell layer are 33.84% and 51.44%; the cell sap SAR RSD of cell sap are 60.16% and 54.18%.Secondly, in order to improve the cell SAR distribution uniformity, on the two situations that the petri dish in the maximum magnetic position and the maximum electric position, adopt the optimized method of rotating WG, respectively. After the simulation analysis, we find that the cell layer SAR RSD in the maximum magnetic position is 16.93% by rotating WG to 90 degrees from y axis. And the cell sap SAR RSD in the maximum magnetic position is 44.65% by rotating WG to 10 degrees from x axis. Then, calculating the radiation efficiency on four situations which cell layer in the SAR distribution is uniform.Finally, since the TEM and WG distribution similarities exist, the TEM irradiation system should applicable to the proposed optimization program, carried out by simulating.We find that the cell layer SAR RSD is 33.08% by rotating TEM to 142 degrees from the axis which is parallel to the y axis and through the center of Petri dishes. And the cell sap SAR RSD is 42.69% by rotating TEM to 50 degrees from the axis which is parallel to the x axis and through the center of Petri dishes.Then calculate the radiation efficiency on the situations which cell layer in the SAR distribution is uniform. By the emulation results can be seen that the optimization method in this thesis is helpful to improve the SAR distribution uniformity of cell layer.
