As water shortage becomes increasingly serious, desalination technology has been adopted by more and more countries to produce fresh water. Vertical Spewing Boiling evaporation desalination technology is widely applied in sailing, offshore platform and some complex environments due to its merits, such as higher heat transfer efficiency, smaller heat transfer temperature difference, better heat transfer effect at the lower temperature, and more stable operation under the condition of sway and rolling. This paper aims to study vertical spewing boiling evaporation technology and provides theoretical and technical basis for vertical spewing boiling evaporation desalination technology in order to make the new vertical spewing boiling evaporation desalination device more efficient.This paper builds a visual experimental system of vertical spewing boiling evaporation in order to obtain pipe flow and accurate heat transfer profiles of vertical spewing boiling evaporation. It focuses on the experiment and theory of vertical spewing boiling evaporation and the main contents are as follows:(1)This paper focuses on the pipe flow of vertical spewing boiling evaporation, and discusses how heating steam temperature, the ratio between the liquid height and length of tube, and temperature difference influence the pipe flow. After observing, shooting and analyzing the pipe flow, it describes the changing process of different pipe flow and makes an in-depth discussion on the change of flow.(2)This paper calculates and analyzes the heat transfer characteristics of vertical spewing boiling evaporation, and obtains the experiment data by changing heating steam temperature, the ratio between the liquid height and length of tube and temperature differences. It comes to conclusions by discussing the changing of evaporation experiment system according to the variation of pipe flow. The conclusions are as follows:Heat transfer rate and heat transfer coefficient decrease with the increasing of heating steam temperature; with the decreasing of the water levels, heat transfer rate and heat transfer coefficient first increase and then decrease; with the increasing of temperature difference, heat transfer rate and heat transfer coefficient increase obviously...
