Recently, SUVs are appreciated by customers in China's automobile market. Because of higher center of gravity and the longer suspension travel, the vehicle operating stability is poorer. Roll Angle of the vehicle is bigger when cornering, it is easy to cause the vehicle rollover accident. So in addition to the drivers' factors that trigger the rollover accident, the improving of vehicle handling stability become a research hotspot. And the anti-roll bar will not only increase the roll stiffness, can also affect the SUV vehicles ride comfort.This research was funded by the Natural Science Foundation of China, “Anti-Rollover Control Study of Active Interconnected Suspension of Vehicle ”(No.51175157).HIS(hydraulic interconnected suspension system) is proposed to replace the ARB(anti-roll bar), which does not affect SUV vehicle off-road performance and can increase the vehicle's roll stiffness. Passive suspension system can't change control vehicle status. The new semi active hydraulic interconnected suspension system is proposed, and the ability to improve roll stiffness of passive and semi-active hydraulic interconnected suspension system is studied.1.In this paper, the model of the passive and the semi active hydraulic interconnected suspension system are established, and according to the parameters of vehicle parameters identification, in the AMESim software the vehicle model with 15 degrees of freedom is established. And the coupled model of passive hydraulic interconnected suspension system model and vehicle model is set up, the semi active hydraulic interconnected suspension system is also the same.2.The tests are designed, consists of vehicle performance test and bench test of semi active hydraulic interconnected suspension system, simulation results are compared with the data of vehicle road test and bench test. The result verified the accuracy of the model.3.Based on the fuzzy control theory, the fuzzy controller of semi-active hydraulic interconnected system is established by Simulink software. Simulations are carried out on the vehicle model, which is provided with an anti-roll bar, passive hydraulically interconnected suspension system and semi-active hydraulic interconnected suspension system, including operating stability and ride comfort simulation. The simulation results show that the semi-active hydraulic interconnected suspension system can provide better control stability and smoothness.
