With the continuous development of large soft cable-net structure in theory and space application, the application of large soft cable-net structure on the ground will become a trend. This paper mainly describes the design and analysis of a 15 meter diameter large soft cable-net structure which is simulated and optimized by a model test. Meanwhile, analyses of the influence of the structure's surface accuracy under the wind load and the temperature load are made, The details are as follows:1. From the aspects of space and ground application, the large soft cable-net structure and the characteristics of them are analyzed.2. A model for constructing the reflective surface of cable-net structure is built. A variety of different schemes are put forward on the way of networking and molding material of the cable-net structure. APDL of ANSYS engineering software is used to establish a network model of cable-net structure.3. The descriptions are completed to find a method of shape and profile optimization of cable-net structure reflection surface model. By using Isight software, the optimization of the model of cable-net structure is done. Then, a 1 meter diameter physical model of cable-net structure is built, By collecting the size of each node's displacement measurement data of the physical model to test the theoretical one, the corresponding improvement method is put forward.4. The analyses of the influence of the model on the accuracy of the surface of cable-net structure under different loads are taken. Firstly, the theoretical analysis of the load, including the classification and the function of the load on the ground are made. Then, how the wind load is applied to the cable-net structure in the ANSYS software are discussed. Based on the analysis of the wind load and the change of the angle of the cable-net structure, the influence of the surface accuracy of its is optimized.5. In view of the temperature load acting on the reflecting surface, the main consideration of the maximum temperature that occurs during one day in a year, and the effect of the surface accuracy are analyzed.Through the design and analyses of the large soft cable-net structure on the ground, it provides theoretical reference for the establishment and research work of the large soft cable-net structure in engineering practice.
