With the development of modern science and technology, the expenditure putting into product design is gradually increasing, correspondingly, the reliability and operating hours of these products is getting longer. Even so, because of wear, corrosion and fatigue leading to product failure and major accidents are uncommon in real life. Therefore, in order to ensure personal and property safety, the reliability requirements is more strictly, in addition, reliability, life and remaining life of the product for monitoring are necessary.Weibull distribution, exponential and normal distribution are the most widely distributed type in reliability analysis models and their failure rate functions are monotonous. But there has been a special distribution whose failure rate function is non-monotonic in engineering, with the complexity of product. Exponential Weibull distribution is widely used in reliability analysis because of its failure rate function is non-monotonic. Thence, based on exponential Weibull distribution, a predictive approach of remaining life about hydraulic gear pump and electromechanical component are proposed in this paper. The main contents are listed below:1, the method of estimating the parameters of index of Weibull distribution by maximum likelihood estimation is studied. Then put forwards the method of using modular function minimum method to solve the likelihood equations. Meanwhile uses the index of conditional probability to assess the product's residual life which obeys Weibull distribution.2, this paper analyze the aerospace precision electromechanical components mainly failure mode under random vibration test. Then analyzes the failure components, meanwhile tested the components in different quality, and evaluates the residual life of the electromechanical assembly by test data and the method of index Weibull distribution.3, the failure mode of hydraulic gear pump is analyzed, testing the sensitivity of pollution in hydraulic gear pump, and combining the theory of pollution sensitivity proposed by Professor E. C. Fitch, the test data is analyzed. Then evaluate the residual life of hydraulic gear pump by using the index Weibull distribution.
