Study On The Application Of Xiangxi Tujia Cultural Elements In Modern Interior Decoration Design

With the rapid development of the interior design industry, designers have realised the importance of the national culture. However, the convergence of global culture makes the national culture of ethnic minority increasingly gone, lead the design works to homogenization phenomenon seriously. In a word national culture is progressively faded away from the design field and the regional characteristics disappear gradually. Nowadays designers in favor of the pursuit of the so-called global trend tend to ignore the connotation of national culture. However, the rich connotation of national culture used in the contemporary interior soft decoration design work is the premise of full of fresh vitality in modern design; and the connotation not only be the spirit of the embodiment work but also be an important carrier of national culture; Similarly, a rich variety of national culture can express design intention more clearly, also makes the design work itself unique and distinct. In this context, designers realised the necessity of exploring the national symbol of the culture in the original design, find a way that national characteristics can be used in the interior design, which makes the design work more expressive not to fall into the stereotypes.Based on the diversity and era culture of the Xiangxi Tujia established a design concept can mix the Xiangxi Tujia cultural elements and the design of the modern indoor soft furnishings together, which through the description of various elements of the Xiangxi Tujia culture and modern semiotics theory as the theoretical support. Follow the four soft decoration design principles:style, color, primary and secondary culture, mean will focus on the inheritance and development of Tujia ethnic cultural elements, see the elements of national dress, Xiangxi Tujia cultural elements in Tujia brocade elements, Tujia vernacular elements and Tujia religion elements as the research object; pattern extraction from the cultural elements, considering the scientific of color collocation, and modernized the traditional materials from this three aspects of design and program design; to demonstrate the research on the application of Xiangxi Tujia culture elements in the modern interior design, in order to design a full sense of national and regional sense, the sense of the times the soft interior decoration works, so as to satisfy people’s emotional and cultural connotation and aesthetic needs of high-end.This article belongs to the applied research on the combination of the national culture elements and the modern semiotics theory in the interior design of soft decoration. In the research method, the author puts forward the problem, analysis problem, solve the problem of the program, in order to document research, explore research, program design and other methods, to maximize the verification in this paper.Considering the modern semiotics in Saussure, Peirce’s semiotic theory, analysis the signifier and the signified relationships in Xiangxi Tujia cultural elements and divided Tujia cultural elements in visual graphic symbols into direct image symbols, symbols and symbol of this three major categories from the indoor soft adornment design angle. Based on this, the author tries to put forward to the heritage of the Tujia ethnic culture as the starting point of the scenic folk Inn practical design scheme, to the theory of scientific accompanied to demonstrate to form complete soft outfit design in system of national culture.Through the research conclusions are as follows:using modern semiotics theory in indoor soft outfit design insure the that the perceptual design thinking up to scientific rational, and soft loading design in the emotional design is founded under the guidance of the scientific theory, to design a more scientific soft attire. Research and analysis the relationship between the Xiangxi Tujia cultural elements and the modern interior soft decoration design, from the ancient tradition of national culture to explore elements that suitable for modern people accepted and loved, for the better and contemporary interior soft decoration design integration, to inherit and carry forward the Xiangxi Tujia traditional culture, find the Xiangxi Tujia cultural elements to present contemporary interior soft decoration design application methods and value. To design demonstrates the theory feasible, the scenic folk Inn plays a basic function of accommodation outside the cultural transmission value to visitors to convey Tujia nation with deep cultural heritage.
