Landscape Design Of Residential Based On Habitat Comfort Index

With the development of society,people pay more attention to enjoy spiritual life rather than material life.They prefer a comfortable living environment brought by safety,hygiene,beauty,functionality,health and other comprehensive factors to functional requirements.Residential landscape design directly affects the comfort of living environment and the quality of life of residents.Outdoor environment is part of the shared environment of residential areas.Then how to create the residential outdoor environment a common and warm living environment to meet different ages,different genders and different levels of occupant’s needs by landscape design is the focus of this paper.The purpose of this paper is to create a comfortable environment which meets people’s physical and psychological needs through outdoor landscape design.The study on the landscape comfort of residential area is of great significance to the construction of high quality living environment and the improvement of the quality of life.After reviewing lots of literatures,analyzing cases and investigating fields of residential areas,this paper has a preliminary understanding of research status,background,residential landscape and the concept of comfort of the residential areas,finding out someproblems such as lack of culture,no attention to the natural landscape,lack of low-carbon design,lack of attention to human nature,lack of practicality and single landscape form.From research above,this paper presents a series of landscape design principles based on comfort for living,including the design principles of safety,practicality,beauty,participation andidentifiability.The paper summarized design method based on habitat comfort and put research results into practice.Taking the landscape planning and design of Hua Ren Residence as an example,it incorporated the design concept of habitat comfort which started from the aspect of water features,roads,squares,plant landscape design and environmental facilities,creating a comfortable living environment.Obtained through research,construction of comfortable living environment is not only the construction meeting the physiologicalrequirements of residents’ health,body comfort requirements,and the safety of the residents of satisfaction,pride,a sense of belonging,pleasure and psychological needs of the landscape environment.
