Because SRM (Switched Reluctance Motor) has a series of advantages, such as excellent speed adjusting performance, strong fault-tolerant ability, firm structure,etc. It has unique advantages in the harsh environment of high temperature, strong electromagnetic interference and so on. The motor has been widely used in electric vehicle drive, mine vehicle, aviation equipment, airport equipment and other industries. Due to the stable operation of switched reluctance motor control system dependent on the acquisition of accurate location information, position sensor introduced not only reduced the performance advantages of the speed control system but also increases the cost of the system, the difficulty of installation and maintenance of equipment. Therefore, the study of sensorless switched reluctance motor speed control system has become a hot spot in the field. It is also the focus of this paper.First of all, the paper summarizes the research results of the rotor position identification technology of the switched reluctance motor at home and abroad. This paper introduces the basic structure and working principle of the switched reluctance motor. The model is analyzed, and the basic control strategy of the switched reluctance motor is presented.Secondly, the sensorless control strategy of the pulse injection method is analyzed and studied. In this paper, the parameters such as the injection pulse frequency and the excitation time are analyzed in detail. Based on the principle of switched reluctance motor pulse injection method, the commutation method of non conducting phase pulse injection was analyzed. The paper proposed a peak current calculation method in the pulse peak current acquisition. According to the characteristics of switched reluctance motor inductance model, the paper proposed a kind of sensorless technology based on extreme value of inductance of pulse injection which through the construction of non conducting phase inductance model realizes the identification of switch reluctance motor rotor position. At the same time, allow for exist fluctuations in the bus voltage of practical application, the single threshold of pulse injection of sensorless method is studied. The paper analyzes estimation position error in the pulse injection method. Through modeling and simulation analysis in MATLAB/Simulink, summary and evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of the above three kinds of sensorless methods are proposed.At the end of this paper, in the basis of theory analysis and computer simulation, the paper introduces sensorless experimental platform of hardware structure and software design which are based on TMS320F28335 chip of TI company.A three-phase 6/4 pole mine switch reluctance motor of a 15Kw was carried out. The results confirm the present method effective and feasible.
