With the development and promotion of human material life and spiritual civilization, people have more and more requirements for the building form. A variety of shapes of the building came into being, the space structure is also rapid spread and development. Reticulated shell is a kind of curved space grid structure which is widely used in the space structure. Based on a practical project, this paper analyzes the performance of a new type of single layer reticulated shell structure, and provides some theoretical basis for the design and application of this new type of lattice shell. The main work of this paper is as follows:1. After reading a large number of domestic and foreign research on shell structure data, briefly discusses the development of the global network of shell structure, status and practical application.2. Reticulated Shell for a real project using APDL language network shell modeling, and analysed under static vertical load, deformation and stress in the largest part of the network shell under vertical loads are located at the intersection of the upper and lower shells network, and suggested that in the structural design should focus on the design of the lever here.3. Of the shell are conducted separately eigenvalue buckling and nonlinear buckling analysis. In eigenvalue buckling analysis, it calculate the reticulated shell under different rise-span ratio and the load distribution of characteristic value through the ANSYS. Then analysis the two kinds of the influence of parameters on the critical load of reticulated shell. In nonlinear buckling respectively considering two cases which are the geometric nonlinearity and double nonlinear. According to different defect peak, the use of Arc-Length Method get different rise-span ratio and the initial defects of reticulated shell under load- displacement curve to provide the reference for choosing suitable structural design of rise-span ratio. And study on nonlinear stability in this reticulated shell should be considered when the double nonlinear conclusion.4. Study the natural vibration characteristics of reticulated shell through calculating the reticulated shell in the first 10 order frequency and geodesic main vibration mode. Consider whether consider the lower column before two kinds of reticulated shell model 21 order modal through comparing. Then come to a conclusion that we should consider lower columns when we dynamic analysis the reticulated shell. Later get the relationship between reticulated shell rise-span ratio and natural frequency of vibration through comparing the different rise-span ratio of reticulated shell natural frequency of vibration.5. Analysis seismic performance of the shell. The input for peak ground acceleration(PGA)400cm/s2 seismic wave, through the shell of the main joint displacement curves and main bar by the force of axial force time history curve to analysis the influence of different parameters on the dynamic performance of the shell. Firstly, the level of earthquake is applied in different directions impact on net shell for dynamic performance to obtain different directions of the one-way seismic waves latticed shell dynamic little performance impact conclusions; followed by on-net shell input seismic waves with different dimensions net analysis of shell seismic performance, give this should net shell input seismic waves of different dimension envelope design conclusions; after reticulated shell input PGA same EI Centro and Taft two kinds of seismic waves caused by analyzing the obtained PGA same two seismic waves network shell maximum dynamic response are quite different, so choose a variety of seismic wave envelope design shells design should pay. Finally cross for four different vectors than to analyze its impact on the network shell, while the peak of different defects on the network shell.6. In summary, based on the research paper to get some meaningful conclusions, and recommendations for further research.
