In this study,the researcher design a heat pipe air preheater based on the characteristics of smoke asphalt mixing equipment, use the fluent to simulate the flow characteristics of heat flux in the heat pipe air preheater and the heat transfer characteristics of the fin heat pipe.Through the research on the arrangement of the heat pipe and found that the staggered manner conducive to heat transfer, but can also cause some windge. In this study we established the simulation model of different pipe distance, results show that when the heat pipe diameter is25 mm, tube bundle spacing take 65 mm is not only beneficial to heat transfer, but also to maintain thermal fluid pressure. Established the fin width 6 mm, 12 mm, 18 mm respectively heat pipe coupling model To simulate under different wind speed fin width on the overall heat transfer performance of the heat pipe effect, studies show that, with the increase of wind speed, heat resistance decreased gradually, therefore, appropriate to increase the rate of heat flow is conducive to enhance the heat transfer performance of heat pipe. On the other hand,the simulation results show that the thermal resistance of heat pipe fin width of 18 mm decreased significantly with the increase of heat flow, and its unit volume heat resistance is the lowest, so its economical efficiency is the best. In order to verify the correctness of the simulation experiment, the paper designded and set up the heat pipe heat exchanger experiment alsystem,analysis the cold and hot temperature field,inThe same time compared the experimental results and numerical results. The study Showed the new method was reasonable.Finally, the heat pipe preheater combined with asphalt mixing equipment, Through a series of engineering experiments, to verify the effect of the use of heat pipe preheater.Studies show that The recovery efficiency of heat pipe preheater is about 72.6%,the heat pipe preheater successfully preheat the air to 100 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, Smoke detection results show that carbon monoxide concentrations and oxygen concentrations decreased obviously. At the same time, equipped with air preheater make the finished product temperature increased by 4.73% when use the same amount of pulverized coal. Therefore, it can be seen as pulverized coal combustion efficiency increased 4.73%.
