| Yellow River as a hyperconcentration river,the high sediment concentration brings great risks to the safety of various dams that has been constructed.Xiaolangdi reservoir,for example,after four years of operation,the sediment deposition has reached to 3.041 billion m3.delta vertex elevation is 215.09 m,about 11.4 km from the dam,the silt elevation in front of the dam is 184.6 m,has been 9.6 m’s higher than the lowest inlet plate height.If we do not take effective measures to control the situation,at this rate of development.the gate will be blocked by sediment.If the gate does not work,once the flood arrives,the reservoir cannot be quickly vacated its capacity for flood,it will seriously threats the safety of the dam and downstream towns.The advantage of other methods can not match the physical model in the study of flow structures,riverbed evolution and sedimentation,the accuracy of the model design and manufacture determines the reliability of the conclusions of the follow-up study,And the test results of a large scale on Xiaolangdi Dam in the normal physical model,worthy of further study.This paper based on the similarity theory,combined with the existing water and sediment data of Xiaolangdi reservoir to make the muddy water movable bed model,and the reliability of this model is verified by comparing the prototype data with the test data.Based on the reliability of the model,in this paper,the erosion of the sediment in the front of the intake tower of Xiaolangdi Dam under different discharge conditions were studied,the development of the pre-tower deposition height with the flow rate and time is obtained,to provide reference for making reasonable measures of dredging. |
