Most of bridges are designed for the seismic by the dynamic characteristic analysis method and seismic response spectrum analysis method, but the local structure will be plastic under the strong earthquake.Nonlinear time history analysis method can get the accurate data about the structure, nonlinear time history analysis method is used for fiber model in the paper.Just based on considering the bending of pier, the viscous dampers are applied to the continuous beam bridge for vibration suppression. FPB and lead rubber bearings are used for isolation which can provide the same bridge for reference of isolation.The article chooses a continuous beam bridge whose length is 200 m, main span is(55 +90 + 55) m for study. 3D modeling is built by Midas software, the nonlinear time history analysis and isolation is applied to the bridge, the finished work as follows.(1)Summarizes the type of earthquake damage of bridge as well as introduces the achievements and current situation about analysis on seismic behavior all over the world.(2)Interaction of pile and soil is simulated by the M-method, Introduces the fiber model, the bridge is investigated about nonlinear time history analysis under different seismic peak ground acceleration, curvature ductility factor and the cross section in the end of pier are investigated under the different seismic peak ground acceleration, nonlinear time history analysis is applied for fiber modal based on thinking of vertical ground motion(3)Vibration suppression for the bridge is investigated by installing viscous dampers The second pier of the bridge equipped with FPB seismic isolation bearing or the whole bridge bearings made of lead rubber support is investigated for isolation, Isolation performance of the FPB is investigated on condition that seismic response behavior considers the vertical ground motion.It is investigated for isolation to combine FPB and viscous dampers.
