The demand of energy is growing with the steady and fast development of economy. However, supply of primary energy is running low. It has important meaning to improve the efficiency of energy conversion and ensure economic operation of the unit. Meanwhile the development of large capacity, high efficiency in supercritical and ultra supercritical units will be the inevitable trend to improve the power generation efficiency, save energy, improve the environment, reduce the power generation cost. Operation mode and economy of the boiler feed water pump directly affect the economic operation of thermal power plant. Therefore, it is very necessary to analyze and optim ize the operation mode of boiler feed water pump.Taking N1000-26.25/600/600 unit as an example, the thermal efficiency calculation were carried for each working conditions. At the same time, the units in 95%, 85%, 75% and 65% THA condition were selected, according to calculate the pump efficiency and coefficient of extraction steam turbine paragraphs, the thermal economic index of feed water pump under the different operation modes was determined, the water supply system can achieve the optimal operation mode; Under different working conditions, draw the curves of the heat consumption rate and the standard coal consumption and the plant thermal effic iency vs different water supply operation. The results show that, under different working conditions, when the flow of two feed water pump is equal, the hot economic indicators are best, the corresponding also the optimal water supply system operation mode. Therefore, in this paper, the conclusions have certain reference significance to the actual operation unit.
