In recent years, environmental problems need to be solved urgently, energy saving and emissions reduction are imperative. Under the trend of the new sources of energy structure, as a high energy-consuming enterprise, the power plant needs to develop in a clean and efficient way. Thus, the Gas-steam combined cycle units have stepped onto the stage of history in the worldwide. And the Gas-steam combined cycle units began to develop rapidly in China. The work of Gas-steam combined cycle units is based on Brayton cycle and Rankine cycle, which makes a full use of the energy of the gas. The operation mode of the gas-steam combined cycle units is single in out country, and in order to solve this problem, this thesis attempts to make an optimal analysis on the operation of the gas-steam combined cycle units.It is necessary to understand the working principle of the gas turbine, the characteristics of the gas turbine, the axial flow compressor, the heat recovery boiler, the steam turbine and the condenser. Compared to the conventional coal-fired power plants, the steam turbine of combined cycle units has the characteristics of quick start-up.And next model the main equipment using statistical modeling. Due to the technical secrets of the gas turbine and the compressor, the specific performance parameters of the work can not be acquired, thus the analysis can only be conducted through the black-box method. The premise of optimal analysis is state reconstruction. Combined with mechanism, through the statistics modeling method based on the particle swarm algorithm at the same time, the major parts of the gas turbine applications, heat recovery boilers and steam turbine of the gas-steam combined cycle units are modeled, then each module is combined together to achieve the effect of refactoring. Based on the data of gas-steam combined cycle generating unit in jiangshan power plant of Datang International Power Generation of Zhejiang, applying particle swarm algorithm and considering the characteristics of combined cycle unit, the similarity of reconstructed model is relatively high and basically kept within reasonable error limits compared to the actual data, which can meet the needs of the optimal operation of the power plant.
