Centrifugal Pump,involving various types,is a universal machine doing work on fluids.Though used for a wide range of purposes in industries like military,mechanical,industrial engineering,energy and other fields,this kind of fluid machinery produced in domestic generally bears shortcomings like low efficiency,unstable properties etc..As a core flow component of the centrifugal pump,impeller plays a decisive role in the pump performance.To improve the pump's low efficiency and degree of reliability,this thesis proposes structure optimization model of the pump's impeller and optimizes key geometric design variables of the impeller,ensuring the pump's reliable operation and practicality in engineering.The thesis is composed on the basis of experiment design,CFD technology and optimal design of the impeller structure by use of fluid-structure interaction method.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Parameters affecting the pump's performance were studied and analyzed to distinguish the key ones which determine the pump's performance,with the needed test parameters for study determined and experiment by employing the uniform design method arranged as a result.(2)SolidWorks was adopted for the three-dimensional parameterized solid modeling of the impeller flow path and structure.MESH module of ANSYS Workbench was used for meshing and pretreatment of the impeller path and structure.(3)Based on ANSYS Workbench platform,FLUENT module was used for managing analysis on flow field in the sector of the impeller flow path,therefore research on velocity and pressure distribution within the impeller flow path and calculation of corresponding hydraulic efficiency was performed as planned;Static Structural,based on CFD/CSD principle,was then employed for steady statics analysis and study on law of internal stress and deformation distribution of the impeller,with the maximum deformation and the maximum stress extracted from each experimental points in the meantime.(4)Kriging model constructed on the platform of MATLAB was used to build mathematic model of optimum design applied for dealing with relations between the critical designing variables of the impeller and its hydraulic efficiency.With MATLAB as the base,SQP algorithm was adopted for optimizing the mathematic model of the impeller structure optimization design,moreover,FLUEN was used for simulation verification,all providing a theoretical basis for further stable optimization of the impeller.
