With the steady growth of China's economy, the power consumption of the whole society will be increased. During the development of China, strengthening the protection and management of the environment, solving haze problem, and utilizing clean energy for power generation have become major strategic choices of energy and power development in china.A common combined cycle power plants(CCPPs) is the gas-steam combined cycle, being made up of a gas turbine cycle and a steam turbine cycle, whose thermal efficiency can reach higher than 60% through energy step utilization. Since the 21 st century, the CCPP technology burning blast-furnace gas and coke oven gas has been widely applied to many domestic iron and steel enterprises, which has many advantages, including reducing the discharge of byproduct gas, increasing thermal efficiency, shortening construction period, reducing unit cost, small occupation, low water consumption and reducing the total pollutant emission. Because of the dependence on complete sets of equipment and technologies, there is some weakness in operation and maintenance for domestic iron and steel enterprises. Many different operating problems in practice have become the main constraint on reliability, safety and economy of operation.The CCPPs of 300 MW in Anshan steel is the first domestic large blast furnace gas power generation project, not only solving the energy waste and environmental pollution problems generated by gas emission, but also satisfying the long-term electricity demand for enlargement of the west area. This paper introduces the situation of energy saving and emission reduction of domestic iron and steel enterprises and the application of CCPPs in steel enterprises; And introduces the technological process of CCPPs and analyzes the key technology of unit operations; In this paper, the work contents of maintenance and repair, influencing factors,maintenance schedule and comprehensive evaluation methods of the main equipment of the CCPPs gas turbine and steam turbine are studied, and the strategy of maintenance and repair of CCPPs is put forward; The actual operation of the CCPPs in Anshan steel has been studied and several typical operating problems, as well as solving measures, are analyzed. The research results will make important contributions to improving operating technology, enhancing the level of operation and maintenance and ensuring the CCPPs performance on energy saving and environmental protection.
