The shielding design of marine reactor is directly related to the safe use of nuclear energy as a ship’s power system. Shielding calculation is a very important part in the design of the shield. In the shielding design, the traditional method is to provide a series of screening programs according to experience, one by one to shield their calculations, according to the calculated outer layer and the total weight of the shielding layer and other factors, screening the best program. MCNP is widely used in the design and Simulation of shielding design and simulation, but it has the disadvantage of long computation time for some complex model or simulation of a large number of particles. At the same time, the preparation of the MCNP program input program and the output result of the arrangement is more complicated, not easy for beginners. In order to improve the speed and the efficiency of shielding design in a certain error range, and the user is more convenient and intuitive to use MCNP software. At the same time, combined with the Research Institute of nuclear power cooperation project needs and the actual problem model. The main work of this paper is as follows:In this paper, the design and the development of a visualization software for MCNP input and output files, including the main interface, the radiation field description interface, geometry and material description interface, automatic calculation of the interface and output the control interface. Through the above user interface can be according to the actual need to construct a simple geometric model, set species, energy and other parameters of radioactive sources, fill the shielding layer material and set the layer thickness, and the calling up software MCNP calculations are done directly after viewing the results.In this paper, the BP neural network simulation study of MCNP calculation process, first to use visualization software to calculate the amount of sample, according to the specific problems to construct BP neural network, then sample is placed on the network training and meet the error requirement, only given the input variables can predict shielding calculation result output.Through the study of this paper, the BP neural network simulation study of MCNP calculation process, research and development of visualization software MCNP software to follow to join the BP neural network simulation to study the MCNP calculation process optimization of interface, the software set visualization, calculation and optimization of integrated, greatly improve the scientificalness and practicability of the software, users in the marine reactor shield design process provides more reference value.
