Researches of performance analysis and optimization have great significance to the operating optimization and energy saving reconstruction for gas steam combined cycle unit. This paper carried out the exergy analysis under various conditions and studied the muti-objective optimization of combined cycle unit. Besides, the problems of combined heat and power economic dispatch in different types of gas-turbine power plants were also researched. The contents of this paper are mainly as follows:First of all, the exergy model for gas steam combined cycle unit was established to calculate exergy destruction and exergy efficiency. The exergy destruction distribution was obtained by analyzing the unit performance in design and operating conditions. And the influence of changes of gas turbine load rate, ambient temperature and heating steam flow to the exergy destruction and exergy efficiency of each component and the whole unit was studied, which provided theoretical basis for the deep energy saving measures.Secondly, exergoeconomic analysis was performed which calculated the specific component cost. With the target of maximum exergy efficiency, minimum tatal cost and lowest CO2 emission, the best design parameters were acquired through the multi-objective optimization by using NSGA?.Furthermore, the method of combined heat and power economic dispatch optimization for gas steam combined cycle power plant was proposed. On the basis of the relationships of natural gas consumption and heat and power load of 1+1 and 2+1 combined cycle unit, the optimal solution of different types of gas-turbine power plants, which operators could take as a reference, was gained by using the method proposed.Finally, the performance monitoring and operating optimization software of gas steam combined cycle power plant was developed, and the system structure, development process and associative functions were introduced in detail.
