In the power generation industry, accidents caused by rubbing of steam turbine are very common, the study of dynamic characteristics of rotor system is very important in theoretical and practical. Based on the analysis of the steam turbine rotor simulation about the rubbing fault, This paper can give guidances to the engineering practice.Based on the real 660MW power generation unit, the result shows the characteristics of simulation under the effect of unbalanced force of the rotor system vibration;the effect of unbalanced force to rotor system vibration;the characteristic of simulation under different side of unbalanced force;the effect of rubbing stiffness and friction coefficient to rubbing rotor system;the characteristic of simulation under the effect of rubbing at the end of rotor and shroud; the characteristics of simulation at the speed of 1600r/min?2000r/mi?3200r/min;the effect of clearance to rotor system vibration. The results are shown in time-domain waveform, spectrogram and axle center trajectory diagrams.How to prevent and deal with radial rubbing and axial measures of rubbing fault during the process of operation are shown.For new installed steam turbine units or steam turbine unit after repairment, rubbing the control and prevention measures are given, and two methods of rubbing fault handling after repairment are given.Through this paper of research, we can know the characteristic of vibration of steam turbine unit under different rubbing fault, it will help people to understand the rubbing fault in actual operation;This paper summarizes the causes and treatment measures of actual unit operation under the rubbing fault, has certain guiding significance for engineering practice.
