Heavy truck is the main force of short distance transportation in bulk cargo,and it is urgent to improve the driving comfort.Using engineering simulation software to simulate the analysis can greatly reduce the development cycle and development costs,is a common means of modern engineering development.The engineering simulation software AMESim used for simulation analysis is carried out on a heavy-duty truck hydraulic power steering system,explores the influence of system of mechanical system and hydraulic system parameters on the system steering characteristics of steering,the main conclusions are as follows:1.Torsion bar stiffness is an important factor that affects the steering characteristics of the system,reducing the stiffness of the torsion bar can make steering light.Due to the torsion bar stiffness can directly alter the direction of the width of the insensitive zone and not cause other effects,so changing the torsion stiffness is adjustable steering force characteristics of the system is the most convenient way.2.Steering control valve,the core of the hydraulic power steering system,should be considered a reasonable choice of the flow area of the vehicle and road conditions in the design of the valve.Flow area is determined by the parameters of valve,the increased flow area will increase the flow area which will cause power is too large and so the road feeling of the driver down,the decreased flow area will cause small the power shortage and so it is difficult to turn the direction.3.Steering device angle transmission ratio changes will affect the extreme value of the steering system under the same input angle.The higher the fuel supply,the greater the same angle input power.Under the same pressure the greater the input angle,makes the move to a more flexible,but changeing the angle of drive ratio will bring about a series of other effects,so not easily modify the steering angle ratio.4.Changing the system supply can change the same input angle of the booster,the higher the amount of fuel,the greater the power under the same angle input.But for the general hydraulic power steering system,the system supply should be optimized to match the entire engine speed range and make it satisfy the response under the condition of fast steering.
