With the rapid rise of the modern mobile Internet, software and hardware almost experienced the rapid changes at the same time. People's lives also benefit a lot from innovative technology, including intelligent power grid. To Development a device which can intelligently, quickly detect potential failures affect the safe operation of porcelain insulator of electricity is the main purpose of the software based on embedded platform. And it also has as well as yet to move, compact, portable characteristics.The software which is based on embedded platform, respectively, developed with algorithm optimization, operation optimization, display optimization, optimization extended.As the major analysis tool of FFT algorithm, we use the more economical computing resources split-radix FFT algorithm, which reduced complex multiplication by 30% compared to the former, so that it could greatly enhance the operating efficiency. For the software running, the paper uses a multi-threaded programming technology.In this way, the UI thread and computation thread work independently of each other. UI interface can hardly feel the caton, which virtually enhance the user experience. For the display optimization, the paper mainly use an adaptive and efficient algorithm so that the display of waveform can still be achieved same result whether on the small screen or on bigger screen of PC platform. For the sake of extended optimization, the software key algorithms was packaged in the dynamic link library that only left with the interface calls outside. Developers can simply modify the corresponding part and replacing the new DLL with the old to update the software due to the unanimously interface.According to the software simulation result, the waveform display looks basically the same no matter on the embedded software and PC platform SCT analysis software.Finally, after a lot of practice of data detection contrast, The software can quickly,accurately, convenient and intuitive detect fault conditions of porcelain insulators. And it achieve the desired purpose.
